You lost me at “barbarians marching in the streets.” Yowzah. I agree that we must stand on the truths of the Bible in its entirety. However, people protesting injustice do not equal barbarians. Nor do politics on either side of the equation equal following Jesus. To follow Jesus is not a political statement, but a life statement. Too often, Christians on both sides of the politico-fence dispose of following God to follow their political ideologies and then try to push God into one of those boxes.

It would also be beneficial, when starting a publication called “The New Christian Intellectual,” to use facts to back up points espoused. I’m curious as to why you find Tim Keller a heretic? He’s about as biblically sound as they come.

We are called to “always give an answer for what we believe,” & I think that on a writing platform, it’s extremely important to be thoughtful & well-researched in our words. When it comes to Faith, this is especially vital.

In spite of our differences (based on this piece), you’re my brother in Christ, and I wish you well in this endeavor.
