To be honest, the new layout reminds me of the early 00s & MySpace. I love everything else about Medium and the opportunities it affords us as writers--what an excellent platform! And, I appreciate the hard work Medium’s staff puts into allowing our voices to be heard. I look forward to all of the ways Medium is growing & evolving, but this feels like a step backward. I can’t take credit for the MySpace comparison-- another wonderful writer pointed that out--but it’s on point. I had flashbacks of making video montages of photos set to my favorite music when I saw the change. I am not digging it (or the ellipsis).
