This leaves me with a gross sense of betrayal for all who rallied around Cindy, but I also feel bad for her. What kind of utterly broken and lonely person does something so terrible? Does their conscience ever weigh heavily? Equally as gross are the sister & anyone else who knew she was faking. I feel for her because she must, especially in the aftermath, lead a painfully lonely and miserable life. Is there any healing & good mental health for someone in this situation? At any rate, thank you for sharing a well-written and eye-opening story.
