This is great, MC. I always wondered if it was an intentional affect. There are certainly bands that sound decidedly British & others that sound very Americanized. On my side of the pond, the converse can be true as well. The Killers, for instance, (a band I love), were heavily influenced by New Wave British bands & I have friends who assume they're from the UK--they're from Vegas.
