There are hundreds of stories about his despicable behavior, stories that began long before they became public knowledge. Anthony Rapp, a Broadway star, is one of the most public accusers. Spacey himself has admitted that he "took advantage" & "crossed the line" with people, although he denies any and all abuse claims. Charges were dropped, he wasn't "acquitted." Although the extent of the claims may or may not be true, when many have shared these stories for years, and when his co-star, Gabriel Byrne, shares that they had to halt production on The Usual Suspects because of his gross onset behavior, I tend to believe there's some veracity to said claims. Whether he's just a "scoundrel" or really has been abusive, I have no idea, but he's certainly not faultless
