The scenes that will haunt me forever: "Outdoors with Oliver and Valentia!," the bathtub, the grave.
I felt pretty mixed here. I loved the first two acts, & the acting & direction are brilliant. But Act 3 felt a bit nonsensical and soap operatic. Oliver is a sociopathic vampire, we get it. I initially thought he was cut from the same cloth as Tom Ripley, but I guess he'd planned everything from the beginning? 🤷♀️. Every actor gives a stellar performance and Barry Keoghan has quickly become one of the best modern, "newish" character actors. I still think it's an excellent film, but I felt like the last act kinda lost the plot a bit. "Less is more," etc
