Thanks, Jeff! Luckily that rough period only lasted for 7th grade, but it taught me a tremendous amount about standing firm in my own identity, and although I had many friends in high school, I didn't make a lot of the same mistakes my peers made because I'd learned to tune out the cacaphonous crowd. I made plenty of mistakes then and in college, but none were peer-pressure related😁.
