Thanks for the great read, Eve! I will say that on this platform, reads matter far more than views. The couple of stories I’ve had published that have earned a fair amount of money definitely were due to the reads. Even if I make crap on a piece, if 200 people both view AND at least read a bit of it, I feel like it’s more of a win than if 500k view my story, but only 100 read. And, just like you, my top earners (with a couple of exceptions) are the pieces that I pounded out, revised, and had published within an hour. 98% of the pieces I slave away on bomb🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😄. I guess there’s fun in the arbitrary life of virality, though.
