So beautiful, Kristi. His way of hugging your heart. While I’ve never lost a child, my little brother passed very suddenly and unexpectedly a month ago, and man, is it tough. It took me three weeks to feel I could write anything that wasn’t utter crap/ just emotional vomit. Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece. I know some moments are unbearable.
