Perhaps you were supposed to put it aside so that you could grow as a writer & allow a removed perspective. Perhaps you needed to increase your following, and build a writing resume so publishers & agents would actually read. I think you have an important story to share that will resonate with many, and I think you have a gift as a writer. Thus, for what it's worth, I hope you don't shelve your story.💖
