My articles with the least traction were in The Ascent. It would take 2 weeks for a response and then pieces got buried underneath 17 other articles published at the same time. For me, this is no great loss, but I know people loved them. They were, in fact, funded by Medium in much the same way as PSILY (although I loved PSILY), I think. Hence the closing up shop.
