The 'cancel culture' thing, I think, just gets murky when it starts to become spewing of vitriol toward innocuous statements by celebrities--ie., there are many who deserve to be boycotted, etc., and every human has the right to tune out celebrities who offend them. But recently, I've seen a rash of backlash against people based on what others assume are their intentions or beliefs--moral outrage for the sake of moral outrage. And that's where I think it goes too far. All of the examples you give here are right on, though. And your heart shines through your writing❤❤❤.
