I took my parents, in their 70s, to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo here in Colorado Springs. While not as large as the San Diego Zoo, it is glorious. But, it’s on the side of a mountain and requires much uphill trekking. Within ten minutes, I felt like the worst daughter ever😄😥
