I love and relate to this, John! I would've had the same reaction, I think. And I love Scorsese and super hero films alike. One feels more like art to me, though, and the other like pure escapism entertainment--the emotions evoked in the latter feel pulled out & not organic. At any rate, I refrain from commenting on similar tweets. but certainly, weirdly, feel similarly irked.
