I find this stuff fascinating! The inbreeding was out of control--reading on the history of "blue bloods," especially, gave me a whole new outlook on our ancestors. And Henry VIII--seeing a collection of his armor in the Tower of London made me laugh. One, he was very short. Two, he had his armor made with HUGE cod pieces to imply some girth that he surely did not possess. Great piece, Betsy!
