I disagree--which only happens once every 2 years with you! I think it should be marked in the history books. Yes, side and backstories and secondary character development was absent from the films--but not so much that I feel a retelling is warranted. By film #3, I loved the casting, and felt each kid was perfect for their (respective) roles. Daniel Radcliffe IS Harry Potter.
