Hey Megan! While I stand at the opposite side of the faith spectrum as you--I came to Jesus on my own at 16, & through some super shitty experiences & the brokenness of people as a whole, my faith has only deepened (through tons of questioning as well)--but I appreciate your authentic journey & honesty. Just wanted to point out as well, some of our leading scientists today/ best, deepest thinkers are people of faith. Francis Collins, the head of NIH & co-creator of The Human Genome Project, is one such scientist. He began adult life as an atheist, and ironically, came to faith through science. He’s written some extremely interesting & intellectual books on the subject. I respect & appreciate where your journey has led you, but I hope that you’ll leave room for the fact that your journey continues, & you do not know what the ultimate evolution of its destination will be.
