Ha! Yeah, apparently he had been at a party at our house several years before, and remembered that my older brother had a valuable coin collection handed down from my grandpa. He stalked our house for a few days, and when he realized we were out of town, he broke in through the garage, stole theclins and other valuables, & poured gasoline everywhere to "cover his tracks." He was a few years older than my sister, & he had been an All-Star soccer player in high school, but developed a drug habit his first year of college, dropped out, & became a full-bliwn addict. It took them a month to figure out who did it, and they initially were looking at our stockbroker neighbor who had said some suspicious stuff in his police interview. Turns out that guy had embezzled millions from his clients & also went to jail. Crazy stuff!! Throughout elementary school, I was known by the older kids as "the girl whose house burned down" OR "the girl who fell off a bridge"😂🤦‍♀️
