Even though I can't spend as much time here as in 2021, this is 100% why I'll never fully leave

In the title of this piece, I asked a rhetorical question: will I still be here for December 2024? The answer is almost certainly yes, unless one of my novels somehow becomes a bestseller and allows me to retire to Rome (where I will surely be too busy as an advisor to the pope to write here any longer).
