Can your dislike of Les Mis can cancel out my disdain for The Green Knight so we can still be friends😄? I’m with you on most of the “opera” musicals, but the music from Les Mis is so powerful. I love the novel, and first got into the story w/ the film from the 1970s, which is one of my Dad’s favorites. When I was 9, my parents took me on a date (sans my brothers, which never happened!) to see Les Mis at the Kennedy Center. I got dressed up, and met some of the cast, who signed my Playbill. I was blown away by the show. Thus, for so many reasons, it will always remain my favorite. I still think you’re fantastic, though😄
