As a creative writer who also has a steady side gig as a content writer, I can always tell when copy is written by AI. Always. Even when it's well-written. It feels sterile & like it's great for sites that need multiple pieces every day, bot otherwise, it doesn't convey talent or warmth. My favorite bad AI example, though, was from an AI-generated script for "The Office" in which Jim was described as "having a face" & Michael Scott uttered, "That is what she had previously said." 😂
