Ah! One of my former roommates worked PT at Swork! I lived about a half block NE of The Oinkster. I dig Hancock Park.

Alas, James is also very fictionalšŸ˜. Thank you so much for the encouragement & compliment--it helps more than I can articulate. Iā€™m pushing so hard to reach the point where I can make creative writing my full-time gig (I have definitely done a bunch of mind-numbingly awful freelance content for $). What a long & bumpy road.

Thatā€™s so cool that you & your wife were able to collaborate on the screenplays. Iā€™ve timidly dipped my toe in those waters as well.

So, I wrote & sold one, made more money than I have ever made before or since, thought it would serve as a huge life-changing launching pad andā€¦no further doors opened & it never saw the light of dayšŸ˜„. I wrote another that garnered me a first look contract, but also nada.

I will definitely check out your novels, and I hope that virtual teaching has been productive for you thus far/ will not be a ā€œforever" thing for faculty!

Youā€™re cool as well--I get the sense that the whole family is pretty awesome. Thanks for taking the time to read my stuff and thank you again for the encouraging correspondence!
