A perfect reminder. Thanks, MB! While I make sure I am grateful for what I have every single day, I also can get frustrated/ down about banging on doors that crack open only to slam shut & give me splinters. And, I think that frustration is okay too--as long as it keeps me shifting perspective, trying things that work better, and moving out of my comfort zone. C. S. Lewis once said, “Pain is the megaphone of God"--and I am inclined to believe in that statement’s veracity. Any type of “pain" can serve a greater purpose/ shouldn’t be shoved down or ignored. I think it’s when people stay in that mire without doing a damned thing that the issues & toxic negativity arise.
